Consultant
Responsibilities
You will work on client engagements from the first scoping conversation through to the final deliverable. That means building and validating models, writing the documentation that supports them, and explaining the results to the people who will act on them.
The work spans our three practices. In banking that is IFRS 9, IRB, and model governance. In insurance it is capital, reserving, and asset-side risk questions approached from a quantitative angle. In AI and data science it is model development, validation, and the tooling that makes analysis reproducible.
You will own workstreams early: running your own analysis, drafting client-facing material, and presenting to stakeholders. You will also help build the internal methods and tooling that make the next engagement faster than the last.
Requirements
We are open to anyone with a strong quantitative background, whether that comes from credit risk, actuarial work, statistics, econometrics, mathematics, physics, engineering, machine learning, or another numerate discipline. What matters is that you can think carefully with data and defend the reasoning behind your answer.
